We love to travel…it’s one of the best things about our job; meeting new people, seeing new places and going on adventures every weekend. This one was extra special as I already knew Ali as a colleague and friend, so we were just beyond thrilled to get to travel to Orlando to film her and Leigh’s wedding. Now Ali and Leigh are a little bit Disney obsessed….I have to hold my hands up and say Disney is not my thing, but I also have to admit I am a little bit converted now, especially after the whole wedding party  spent the most magical evening watching the fireworks at Epcot after the ceremony earlier in the day.

Ali and Leigh were joined for their wedding by their close family and friends, who helped celebrate their unique day. We all stayed at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel in the run up to the big day, which is where Ali and Leigh started the wedding day off with prep in the morning. We then all headed over to their ceremony venue, the beautiful Cypress Grove Estate House, which is set in tall trees on the edge of a lake…it’s stunning.

The ceremony was conducted by Glynn Ferguson and we were joined by the lovely Kritsa from Kristen Weaver Photography. They were a joy to work with and so lovely. Ali looked stunning in her dress from my local – Stamford Bridal Rooms, finished off with a pair of sparkly Kurt Geiger‘s. Beautiful flowers were provided by Lee Forest Designs and the furniture and styling by RW Events.

The whole team put on a wonderful day for everyone and we managed to squeeze a whole wedding day into about 6 hours….which meant we could then hit Disney!  By chance Beccy and I had been persuaded to upgrade our car rental to a very understated bright red Mustang convertible (now an absolute requirement for all our car rentals in the US) which we used as Ali and Leigh’s wedding transport to Disney (I am also now available as a chauffeur). I think one of my favourite memories from the day was watching them both in the back seat, newly married, huge grins, wind in their hair, heading towards The Magic Kingdom!

We then spent the rest of the afternoon and evening visiting Disney, being congratulated by strangers (and getting hugs from little girls who were convinced Ali was an actual real life princess), rounding off the night watching the amazing firework display at Epcot, whilst standing in England eating fish and chips!

You two were such a joy to be around, thank you so much for having us with you for your beautiful day, we’ll never forget it. We wish you all the luck and love in the world for your future together and can’t wait to see what yoyo both do next xx
