We loved this wedding so, so much! I knew it was going to be good from the moment Bear emailed, as she just happened the be the lady who created the gorgeous wedding ring of one of our other brides (Bryony and Ed). Bear is a jeweller (Bear Brooksbank) and Daniel works in design, so it’s always going to be a creative wedding.

The whole day took place at Menethorpe Hall, Bear’s childhood home, with their ceremony at a local church. Daniel got ready at the Talbot Hotel in Malton, the pretty North Yorkshire market town. Bear had a house full of family and friends helping her get ready, and she chose the most original and beautiful dress, which she helped design, by Jacqueline Byrne based in London. It was a concoction of painted layers, lace and feathers…it was stunning! Of course Bear made her own jewellery to and she looked amazing. The bridesmaid were treated to Temperley dresses too.

Following the ceremony, where it tried it’s best to snow as Bear arrived at the church, the reception was held back at Menethorpe Hall, with champagne, canapés and some emotional and heartfelt speeches. The party continued into the evening with a surprise for the guests in the form of a live band who had been set up in the now converted party barn. The guests didn’t need much encouragement and a great party kicked off, which I’m pretty sure lasted well into the early hours.

We were joined on the day by the very lovely Pete Henderson from Nottingham who was the photographer on the day. Such a pleasure to work with, hope we meet again!

Thank you Bear and Daniel, we had a fantastic time and love your energy and smiles. Here’s to an amazing and healthy future for you both xx
