The second Scottish influenced wedding today is the wonderful Louise and Andy and their beautiful, fun, happy wedding at Louise’s family home in Lincolnshire. Now Andy is a writer and Louise is reads drama TV scripts for  BBC Worldwide, so writing a blog entry for them needs me to think carefully about what to say…but really, the whole day was just one big, fat smile (if I had to sum it up)…oh, with a bit of cricket thrown in. Louise is the first bride we’ve filmed that’s played cricket on her wedding day! They were just genuinely a very happy couple and very obviously in love. (plus I think Andy is one of the more emotional grooms we’ve had for a while, which is just fabulous!)

Louise got ready at her parents’ house with her family while Andy got ready at the local Inn. Louise chose the ever beautiful Sassi Holford and looked stunning. Andy wore his family kilt…you looked stunning too Andy! They then had their ceremony at the church where Louise’s Great Grandfather was vicar, which was such a lovely thing to be able to do. Their vicar, Val and Andy’s family Minister conducted the ceremony, which really was touching and very personal. The couple then led the guests back to the family home for the reception on the lawns of the garden. It was a gorgeous day, people smiled, great food was eaten and the whole atmosphere was one of laid back happiness…perfect.

The party was kicked off by the amazing Earth, Lights Boogie Band, who entertained the guests late into the evening. Photographer on the day was Andy Fletcher, who was very easy to work with.

Louise and Andy, you were an absolute pleasure to be around, as were your families. Thank you for having us around you on the day, your kind and happy natures shone through and we hope you will both continue to be happy and in love xx
